Barb, I heard about your journey while at a conference that I attended in Tulsa, OK back in Sept. The leader of the seminar was from Mesa, Arizona. She spoke so highly of Justin and told of his strength while on this journey of his life. I have a nephew, Kessler, who was diagnosed back in July, 2006 with Aml over CML leukemia. Kessler is getting ready to enter the hospital in Phoenix on Oct. 9, 2006 to begin radiation and then have a bone marrow transplant on Oct. 17. Kessler is going to turn 15 years old while in the hospital. Kessler's dad is my brother and he lives in Houston. I write today, hoping that maybe Justin would be able to visit Kessler and give him encouragement. I have read thru your posts and your prayers and I am convinced that God has brought the knowledge of you to me for a purpose and I would love to talk to you further and and share a little more about Kessler. He is a great kid and he loves journalism. I hope to hear from you. You have already been an encouragement to me.

I just got back from United Blood Services for further testing to see if I am a match for a "20 yr old female" with ALL. They asked about Justin and said there were quite a few matches from the WOG bone marrow/blood drive for Justin. Just wanted you to know that God continues to use Justin's life for His purposes. Isn't God good?

Hi Justin--My name is Neil Riordan and I have been following your story for a couple of years. I even tried to have my bone marrow tested before your transplant, but they said I was too old. Yours is a great story of courage and family strength and faith. I am so happy that all seems to be going well for you---keep up the good progress. It is so good to see the photos and how well you are looking after all you have been through. I am the Grandpa of Connor Riordan and I want to thank you, Barb, for mentioning him in Justin's web site on July 2. He is being treated for a Brain tumor and has just undergone his Stem Cell Transplant and needs all the prayers he can get. Thanks again and we all pray that you, Justin, keep up the progress. A co-worker asked me for prayers for his cousin who is 4. I immediately sent out the request to "believers" and went into prayer at my desk. My prayer was that the healing be done for God's glory. I also prayed that the healing be so that there would be no doubt where the gift came from. Another believer that I had sent the gift sent me your site. Now that was a quick start to what I hope will be a similar gift as the one you and your family have already experienced. God Bless.

Hey someone sent me your web site about a year ago, and I check it all the time to see how your doing. I get disappointed that there a few updates, but I guess that is a good sign that you are probably doing well. It still would be nice to hear from you once or twice a month. Your Mom does a great job at writing but its always nice to hear from the actual person who is going through it. Maybe your Mom can still keep a page for herself, and you could add your own page to write so we can all hear from you in your own words. It would be great to hear your journey through this incredible walk of courage, strength and wisdom, through your eyes. Bless you my brother In Christ Travis

Justin, I was woundering how you were doing and I checked your website (I have it saved to my favorites), and I was so happy to hear how great you are doing. Because of you and your family, after I saw you on the news I made my whole family donate blood and put it in the national blood and marrow register, and my mom not to long ago got a call from the the red cross saying that she has the rare type of blood and was the only match for a 23 year old guy dying of leukemia. She couldn't wait to go for further tests and pray she was a perfect match. I think it really hit home with her since that is how old my younger sister is. My sister is getting married next year and is having over 250 guests and instead of giving a "party favor", she is going to hand out card saying that her gift to them is that she is donating $20 in their name for each guest who comes to cancer research and awareness. I think you are a very special kid and are blessed with a the most amazing family!!!! I will keep praying for you everyday. Oh, tell your mom to keep the update postings coming because there are alot of people who care about you and get their spirits lifted when they hear your doing well.

Dear Justin, I've heard about your courage from a friend on the internet. I am glad you are well, and pray you will continue to improve. I, too, have had to battle a chronic illness for years, and know how precioius it is to be healthy. It is good to know there are thousands, who are with you, wishing you complete healing, and most importantly, praying for you. An important part of being human is reaching out to one another in time of need. Keep up the good fight, Justin. Blessings, Fadi
