From The McFaddens
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given…"
Isaiah 9:6 College days don’t seem so far behind, yet Tim and I each began our careers more than 25 years ago. Why, it seems like only yesterday that we were exchanging wedding vows, yet that was 20 years ago this coming June. Wasn’t Jeff just a toddler? He’ll be 18 in May, and is working hard in his second year at Mesa Community College, hoping to transfer to Arizona State University in the fall. He is majoring in Computer Science. He is a caring, gifted young man. He works at the college as a coordinator for the Student Technology Assistant program. It seems only a short while ago that Bryan was falling asleep in his high chair. He’ll be 15 in May, and is a Freshman at McClintock High School. He plays the electric guitar very well, and is really handy at helping to fix almost anything. Surely it was just the other day that a little blond angel was born into our family! Ben will be 10 years old in February, and is enjoying 4th Grade. He’s a whiz on the computer, and is interested in everything. Yes, it seems time has flown by. We’ve gotten older, and hopefully, wiser. God has blessed us with precious memories of greatly loved friends and family, and special events gone by. In this last Christmas of the 1900's, we are so thankful for the many blessings of the past, and the joys and challenges of the present; and we anticipate with hope the days God allows us in the future. May we never lose sight of His unchanging Love, so clearly demonstrated in a manger, that night long ago. Merry Christmas, and a blessed New Year!
